If you want to turn a paid app free, create a new version that offers something different
I understand that developers need continuous income to maintain and support an existing app but I think it’s the lowest of the low to take an app, that hasn’t been updated in any significant way, and then convert it to free, giving a giant middle finger to everyone who supported you previously. At least when SwiftKey went free they had the good graces to give all their previous pro members a free customization package that equaled the paid value; so, you got to have the same features as free users and also got a little extra. I don’t support the kind of practices Flowboard is employing. At least offer people who already paid for the app a free 1-3 months subscription. A good app can be ruined by shaddy practices. I’m going to look into getting a refund.
